Geez, where oh where to start....Ponytales....Phonytales....

Laurie first walked on the scene of ABR not to long after it's birth, singing praises of herself from the beginning. Naturally it wasn't long before she too decided to become a "rescue" since she found a place where others fed into her....someplace she could feel important....like so many of the other failed rescues that found ABR did.

She walked onto ABR claiming to be a certified vet tech and an equine nutritionist....neither of which turned out to be true.....and still follows suit to this day with half truths and make believe.....but fortunately for her, a vast majority of the FOB's don't have a clue.

I copied the most valuable lines in her posts because of past history, Phonytales has a habit of deleting and "fixing" her posts and web site when people point out the inaccuracies. My own personal comments are those in green........as of right now, everything underlined is clickable and it will take you directly to Laurie's own words.

I am a certified vet tech who has specialized in large animals for 12 years, I also have a degree in Equine Nutrition (ironically enough, Phonytales also claims in this post "I would rather not be a 501(c)3 rescue"....but since becoming has harped on the fact you should be one to be "legitimate".... )

I did not say that I was a CVT, LVT or RVT (Certified, Licensed or Registered Vet Tech) Sorry sweetie....you did say it, at least twice before you were busted....

I have an Equine Nutritional Consulting Business with MANY very happy clients. Was I enrolled at Cornell University? No. Did I study their curriculum, listen to their lectures, read their notes, and do everything that their students did? Yes. Does that make me an expert or earn me a degree? Most certainly not. Then why lie about it? And where are all these many happy clients? You certainly haven't made any mention of them in years.......and God knows you can't blow your nose without telling someone!

Just another funny....on January 24th 2010 she also claims to have been a "professional trainer" at one time....LMAO....I'd bet my last dollar that is another lie. She's posted videos of herself riding and lunging horses and there isn't anything professional about her! Scary....Yes! Professional, No! Of course you guys remember "Jed" that was so horrid he had to go, yet he did great with someone else......

And this thread from November 30th, 2009 is just a frickin HOOT! And this.....LOL.

Oh, and remember her now deceased stallion? Remember her having the web page offering his breeding services and when busted for it she claimed it was "just a joke"....sure it was dear! Unfortunately this is one of those things you can't link to, you had to be around with the posts being on the old ICERs and her immediately deleting the web page....but fugly did do a piece on her and her stallion.....

I could play this game all day of things she said then changed her story or altered it to make the FOB's happy over the years....I think a good majority of you have already caught on though.

So now she's closing....or is she? It's so confusing she doesn't even know what she's doing. God forbid she'd have to pay off the final bills herself for the mess she has created. With 6 less mouths to feed and running her "boarding business" you'd think paying off the mere $3000 she claims to owe a breeze. But why do right when you can stay a 501c3 and still ask for money and have those bills paid for you.

And what happened to this? Posted on ICERs March 26th, 2011....

Lastly I have things going on in my personal life right now that also require my time, and are also the reason for the much needed downsize, unlike others I keep my personal life personal and don't use it to garner support and sympathy.

It didn't take long at all for this 180 to happen! A disgruntled board member makes a post and the full blown pity party begins!

I'm not getting into anything else, but I think it's pretty unfair to tell someone that is fighting a life threatening health condition on top of a health condition that WILL leave them paraylized at some point in their life, that they are whining.

No I should not be horseback riding, at all, I shouldn't even be mucking stalls.

But please note that Laurie has no intention of closing her "boarding business"...because she is just fine for that! And the horses are treated like show horses and all :P

Again about my motorcycle, it's part of my "bucket list".....I'm going down the list. I won't be getting any better, I'm just hoping not to get worse.

And a clear list for her pity party, which again, she's pretty much done EVERYTHING she has harped on other rescues from doing over the years ;-)

For the record (public record) since I have been being asked questions, this is a list of the reasons why we are trying to close down:
A) Too many horses
B) Not enough money
C) Declining health
D) Volunteer/board member sold house and is moving
E) Board member/contributor resigned
F) Marital Issues
G) Family Issues

Let's discuss F) Marital issues.....hubby was pissed back in 2007 when Laurie only had 8 horses and they were in her own yard at the time.....but she didn't seem to concerned. Why try to make the husband happy when you have so many FOBots to impress!

My husband demanded a divorce a few weeks back. In his words he is tired of taking a back seat to the animals.

Another funny thing is a long time ago, back when the first ICERs was born, Laurie used to email me to share stories of what she had done to other rescues on ABR under false identities. I'm not sure if she thought I was cheeky enough to enjoy her drivel or she was trying to make nice hoping she never popped up on this blog.

I think we can all agree here that I can't stand Debbie from the old Mustang Hearts and wouldn't piss on her if she were on fire....but I also find some of the things Laurie did to her to be some of the most the most unethical crap I've ever seen in my life. I refereed to it as "wicked evil things" over on ICERs.

This thread "Reaching Desperation Status Here" on ICERs pretty much has it all in there. Unfortunately my old computer with all of the saved emails crashed a while back....and while I do believe it's fixable and retrievable, I couldn't wait any longer to do this blog.

If you'll notice within that thread when I accused her of posting AS Debbie's landowner and she told me how wrong I was because the landowner gave her the info to post...of course she calls the land owner a "she" and I only knew and had the email claiming the landowner was a "he"....so she has pretended to be 2 of Debbie's land owners...not just one! LMAO! Busted twice by her own admission!

And her email to me bragging about it.....

I did remove his last name out of a tiny bit of respect since Laurie doesn't have any!

Known ID's of Phonytales (off the top of my head since everything was stored on my now crashed computer)....MikeRID, MireID, MaryKSmith....and myself and others that have emailed have a pretty good idea on a ton of other fake ID's....but since I don't have proof....well you know how that goes!

You can find all kinds of back peddling in that thread along with the resent thread she's started "Elephant in the room"...my absolute favorite is where she says:

And when I agree with her she says:

Remember Tee from Lifelines? That's one of the bad guys Laurie claims "I tried to tell you!!!!!!" when she went down......but wait! Laurie helped a friend of hers get placement for a horse there and even thanked Tee :-P

Seriously, like I said earlier...I could literally play this back peddle game all day with her posts, both resent and over the years....it's never ending! She can't say the same thing twice!

All in all in conclusion, I think this post made on the last blog pretty much sums up my feelings....

I honestly believe her husband is sick of being a single father and working full time, while she's out fulfilling her "fantasy." Who wouldn't want to play with horses all day, in the name of rescue.

You know he's footing the bill on a lot of this. She never spared ANY expense on these horses. Why keep a 3 yr old horse alive that is barely pasture sound? At what cost financially? The expensive surgeries, two three opinions at different clinics. I don't think she budgeted money very well.

I bet hubby put the hammer down and said "enough." Her kids need a mom, Christ, they're young too. You hardly ever hear her mention them.

The health issues I don't buy. She may have some, but she's playing that up as the reason. She's stated she drinks, is overweight (not knocking that but in regard to health), I would think those things would be a lot more detrimental to someone's health than working around the barn. Physical exercise is good for most conditions.

I dunno, it just sounds fishy. She would have been better off not saying so much, but then again, she's always had a problem with that. Every time she stubs her toe she has to post it. She's just an attention whore. Most people I know that are truly good horse people are modest and don't need a pat on the back every time they pound a nail. She doesn't seem to have an ounce of common sense.

And actually there are a lot of good comments under the last blog if you have the time to read them!

And let's make NO mistake....even though these horses are not skin and bones, they are STILL having to be rescued from a rescue. Before it's to late, after it's to late....it makes no difference....horses have been put into a "rescue" situation where they now cannot be properly taken care of.....all while Laurie has had all the time in the world to tell other people how rescuing should be done and putting herself on a pedestal....THAT's what really chaps my ass!

Phonytails also needs to learn that there is life and rescue outside of ABR! Maybe if she had actually tried to run her rescue right and use her board members (notice they all seem pretty disgruntled!) she probably wouldn't be a failure....a liar? Oh hell yes, she'll never give that up!

It always amazes me when rescues provide basic care to animals....food, water, farrier care....how they achieve sainthood status. Do these people not realize that this is something most anyone can do? Even a pro slaughter bitch like myself? It really doesn't take more than half a brain.

Listen up FOBots....unless you are dealing with a severely emaciated, crippled animal, all you have to do is feed the damn thing and take care of their feet.

So it's been a year+ since he cried wolf AGAIN about shutting down ABR. Who was shocked when he announced he would be keeping it? No one.....that's who :) When his book didn't take off like a bat out of hell I suppose he figured he needed to stick around and peddle it as much as he could. Sales don't seem to be going so well. Can't imagine that there wasn't much call for yet another Barbaro book, LOL.

You know....the dude that sits around and dresses up horsies with photoshop on ABR. Mainly Barbaro. I swear until I saw a photo of him I thought he was a teenager......but NOPE! This chick has been on ABR for well over a year with crisis after crisis, excuse after excuse.....

She can't work because she has arthritis, fibromyalgia, and a million other ailments......but she can take care of 3 dogs and a million cats (all unaltered BTW....) and her kids.

She won't take prescription meds because "they are poisonous"......but I'd be more apt to believe the doctors think she's a hypochondriac loon and doesn't need any "meds" besides Prozac, LOL.

After sitting home for 2 years (and being able to AFFORD to do that I might add) and feeling WORSE I went out and got a JOB. I feel BETTER. Having shit wrong with you does NOT give you a free pass to sit on your ass. Working and MOVING around helps more than anything.

I been asked several times why I don't blog much any more. Well, I never made it a daily thing to begin with, but as I look around ABR I find myself having a hard time of knowing where to start!

You have AC4H charging 2, 3x the amount for kill pen horses as the ones that come from Camelot.

You have "Gabe The Wonder Horse" who's owners have to run illegal internet raffles to have enough money to feed the horse....and I won't even get into the rescue that dropped a pony off in that trash dumpster of a place to keep Gabe company.

You have Tierra Madre still hoarding and killing horses....oh, and he also has an illegal internet raffle going!

You have Alex the Stupid having the FOB's do his research for his book for him instead of him putting the effort in himself. But good news! He just exclaimed he has over 110 photos for his book! Thank God because that cuts down on your own poorly written drivel!

You have horse after horse that was "saved" by FOB's and other good hearted people that get sucked into the "ugly truck" game that keep turning up starved, neglected and dead. Oh SO much better than slaughter!

You have rescue after rescue that keeps getting caught embellishing stories to keep their asses out of the sling.

You have rescue after rescue starving, neglecting and killing horses.

The idiots are running so wild over there these days that there is enough material to blog about for 10 lifetimes....it becomes overwhelming of where to begin!

You have free horses that are being completely ignored while you have people scraping the couches to buy them from the auctions.

You have rescue after rescue stockpiling horses but you have a thread called "Rescues With Adoptable Horses" that is seeing very little action.

You have nutbag after nutbag losing their jobs, homes, husbands, family all because they have no self control and have spent every penny they have "saving" the horses and all their free time merrily bumping away threads.

And as usual, you still have Alex threatening to ban anyone that questions him.

And that is just today's drama, LOL....so you tell me.....where in the fuck would you start?!?

Lifelines would not have been able to scam near as many people for surgeries that were never preformed.

Mustang Heart would have never met the two people who let her live rent free, hoard and neglect horses and ultimately destroy their property.

Tierra Madre would still be living on a cup of soup in a house not filled with thongs and no ability to keep packing 34 and rising horses on less than 3 acres of land.

Fairdinkum would not have been able to kill as many horses.

EPONA wouldn't be able to keep dragging up her dead livestock in hopes to raise a dime.

The Buckaroo Boosters would not have found other nutters to help a poor colt suffer for months.

"Rescue" groups like CBER wouldn't have made near as much money selling their horses.

Jason Menduna would have had less horses to starve and kill and less women to swoon.

The people who run the candle site would have never been relentlessly harasses because the nutters couldn't keep enough candles lit for the Beloved Barbaro.

Several people would still have their homes, jobs and husbands instead of sending every last dime they had to keep horses away from the "ugly truck".

Private horse owners trying to sell animals they own would not have been stalked and harassed at all hours of the day and night.

Wikipedia might still be considered a half ass legitimate source of info.

People would not have been able to worship a dead horse and pray to God at the same time they were threatening peoples lives.

So many nutters would still be wondering about the internet aimlessly.

Without you this blog along with many other forums that spawned from the screwing and craziness you harbor would not have been able to exist.

Jason Meduna of 3 Strikes ranch has been found guilty of 145 charges of animal abuse :)

I'm sure if you're lurking about this blog that you know the story...but if not, here is a recap...

Jason used to be the poster boy of the FOB's as a mustang sanctuary. They sang his name and praised his glory and tried to shove every unwanted mustang off at his ranch. You could feel the FOB's warmth between their legs coming right through the computer screen every time they spoke about him...and if there were pictures of the horse killer, well look out, the moans were plenty.

Even when some news started coming out that things might not be the way they seemed, the FOB's stayed a rabid supporter until there was just to much bad to deny.

A handful are still holding on to their dream boy. Now with the guilty charge I'd be interested to know how they look at him now.....

Why push this off and blame the FOB's you ask? Well because if any of them had taken a moment to research the man they were so hot and horny over they would have found out this isn't the first time good ol' Jason has been in over his head. A search of his name would have brought up some court records and they would have immediately seen at the very least lie #1. Jason told people he was 29 which in fact he is 42. I don't know if this was a ploy to keep people off his tracts or he thought he was all that and a bag of chips. I'd say a little of both.

Another thing I don't get (well I really do get it, wink, wink) is that the FOB's are always screaming about how can a rescue have 50, 60, 70, 100+ horses and provide the necessary care for them...but knowing Jason was somewhere around 300 horses, well that didn't seem to bother them a bit. He was a God after all....

I believe I read where sentencing was Feb. 23rd. Burn in hell Jason, burn, burn, burn......

Back to the numbers game for Alex!

Just a brief summary....Alex is no longer working for Asmussen (which BTW I notice someone edited Asmussens multiple drugging charges off his wiki....)...Alex never said why besides the fact he wants to take some time now to write his Barbaro book, so who knows.

So Alex pops on ABR the other day and makes a post wanting more fans for his book page (gag me). But he knows his little FOBots will work their fingers to the bone to make sure even their dead grandmas and kittens join up.

Again, he doesn't care if these people are really interested in reading his book or not, just like he doesn't care if any of the 3100 horses he claims ABR has saved are now safe or even dead or alive....just as long as those numbers make HIM look good! I mean, who really gives a fuck about facts....right? :)

I have this mental image in my head of a handful of little ol' FOBots that think light shines out of Alex's ass funding all of this "time off from work" journey, LMAO.

I've seen him around ABR of course, but I don't read the racing threads (unless someone emails me and says "check this shit out!")...so I don't know why he's being drug up over here in the comments so much.

Ok, so Sue Wallis, a Rep for Wyoming has started a petition "Control the Overpopulation of Wild and Feral Horses".....and the ABR nut jobs are using it as a sounding board. It's frickin hilarious! Some of the comments on there make it so clear what radical nutjobs these people really are.

There's a thread on ABR about this petition and this woman....people have said you can leave your comment without it actually being sent to your reps. Well I disagree :) Because I've copied and pasted their comments along with a link and sent it to every rep and official across the good old USA :) I'm sure that kind of flattery will get them everywhere, LMAO. (of course if you agree and have a second, please sigh it!)

Naturally, as you can find if you surf that thread, someone made a rebuttal against Sue in an article and photoshopped Sue's face to make it look huge and distorted. Classy, huh! Anyway most of the FOB don't realize it was photoshopped and are making fun of her appearance...IMAGINE THAT! "I can't think of anything intelligent to say or even a rebuttal so I'll act like the stupid fucking moron that I am and comment on someones looks" mentality......but who would expect anything more out of that group!

I hope you realize that ABR and the FOB's have became a pretty common household name now, and not in a good sense. People view your forum and make a judgement call about all rescues across the world in a negative light because of what they see in your little nutter community.

I've been watching EPONA Horse Rescue in NE for quite some time now....by her rantings on ABR over the years she definitely hits nutter status in my book.

But here lately she's been claiming she has been receiving threatening emails and phone calls from the FOB's. I do not agree with anyone who sees the need to do that! They are scum!

But she does it in a way that makes it seem unbelievable and like it gives her an excuse not to answer questions and be open. I personally think it's BS and it's all in her mind to try to gather sympathy, she will never give anyone proof and hasn't said anything about contacting the authorities....

She's admitted on ABR to having hoarding tendencies and she just got her first horse about 5 years ago then later decided to become the all important rescue...the numbers quickly increased to over 70 at one time. She uses big words that she has no idea what they mean to try to impress people. There is always some kind of big secret only she knows about.

It's quite ridiculous really. It appears just about everyone is onto her though because the "river of funds" has damn near went dry. The only people you see on her threads anymore are either calling her out or the regular nutters who support anything and everything.

So what's your take on EPONA? I'd love for some proof to show up in my inbox that this woman is getting either fairly or unfairly accused of the things she posts about herself.

Oh, and a little P.S. I am well aware of the nastygrams Lin/EPONA sends out anytime someone brings up her name unless it's to fart rainbows...so before Lin or any of her little minions sends me the standard "I'm gonna sue you for slander!" bullshit form letter....just remember, the burden to prove you are not a nutbag is on you ;-)

So here we are not even with a full 72 hours in yet of Alex's "I'm pretending to listen to you" thread and it's already heading towards my prediction :) He is going to do whatever the hell he wants to do even if people type until their fingers bleed. He came on to pretty much confirm this last night....

A poster came on early in the thread that nailed him and his actions to a T...probably one of the best posts I have read on ABR in 3 years :) I could not have said this any better myself:

What has changed since the thread has been up? Not a damn thing!

Alex has promoted himself on the forum for his blog radio and youtube....but hey, guess what? A long time member of ABR that everyone really liked just passed away...she was one of the most active anti slaughter supporter on the forum. She's spent countless hours on the phone, emailing and faxing our legislators and helped guide others in the fight....but did Alex wander over and share his condolences with the rest of the board? Nope...not one peep out of him.....that my friend, if nothing else, shows you what kind of "compassionate" human being is behind the screen.....

And in my search for something totally unrelated last night I came across this little tidbit from one of the moderators before they were a mod. Looks like the same questions and concerns from 2 years ago that are being voiced now, only I guess since she is Alex's right hand lady it's just not important to get those answers anymore. Just be sure and do not question a rescue she likes otherwise your post will disappear before you hit enter...pick on one she doesn't care for so she can sit silently by and watch the fun, LOL

I guess with the recent? "ABR under ATTACK" (per the Board Nazi) that ol' Alex is feeling a little blue and inadequate so he's started a thread asking about the future of ABR. He's even pretending to listen to input from his members....

Here's my prediction of how things will go down....all of Alex's regular little panty throwers will chime in and pump the old chap up, a couple of people will have the balls to actually challenge the Nazi and most of the regulars won't even bother to respond because the like the idea of ABR but lost respect for Alex years ago....and the outcome will be Alex doing whatever the hell he wants to anyway ;)

I really considered getting an ID over in FOBville today and posting my thoughts on the matter, but I knew if a miracle happened and the post was allowed to stay that I'd never forgive myself for having my say under an alias....so here we are :)

Alex, ask yourself "what have I accomplished in the last 3 years on ABR" and look into the mirror and see the cold hard facts. You have created a community of mob mentality, liars, thieves, scammers, domestic terrorists, horse killers and felons and made it possible for them to all congregate in one place. All of the "sane" people left your ass in the dirt a long time ago.

You have also created a community of people going into dire straights financially because they don't have enough sense (until it's to late) to realize they are chasing some kind of twisted pipe dream.

Don't you have an ounce of guilt, any remorse or shame when people say they will miss meals, send money when they get their social security or disability checks, not pay a bill, and take away from their families all in the name of thinking they are saving a horse? Does it not pain you to look around your house and see all the people that are now hurting because of your little science project?

You have 2 moderators that do absolutely nothing and one who spends most of her time covering her own tracks. You'r FOBots (thanks ICERob :) and you claim to have saved 3100 horses but I'd bet you a steak dinner (or hell how about something you can relate to...drinks on the house!) if you could find 1,000 of those horses now. Wait, I'd settle for 500 ;) From the looks around ABR these days it looks like you keep saving the same ones over and over!

ABR has done nothing except cast a dark shadow on legitimate rescues. I bet the number of people that you and your FOB's have totally soured on rescues all together far super exceeds the number of horses you claim to have saved.

Hell you have a married nutbag trying on thongs and sending them to the "token male" rescue filled with money. Legitimate rescues everywhere crawl in their skin when the name Alex Brown is brought up.

ABR has lowered the standard in horse care 101. Your members spend most of their lives begging for the next bale of hay while they are making shipping arrangements to have more horses sent to them. Rescues post pictures of horses standing in lots that look like junk yards, packed in like sardines.....but then if anyone should dare say something the FOBots come along and try to convince everyone that not even basic care and knowledge is as bad as slaughter.

Countless threads have been devoted to tearing people apart, people who do not even participate on the forum, people who the FOB’s know nothing about. But they don’t like their opinion on something or maybe the way they list a horse on craigslist….so lets just rip everyone a new asshole even though they are clueless....but then Alex pouts when you question him ;)

I have to wonder if the FOB’s realize how really fucking stupid they are. They flag craigslist ad’s they do not like therefore decreasing the chance for exposure to get the horse out of the situation they do not like. Man, do I have a sign for you guys…..

If you want to look at things realistically, ABR has not saved one single horse....that's the biggest scam ABR and Alex has ran so far. Each and every horse that has been purchased at auction has only been replaced with another. Slaughter numbers have GROWN, not decreased over the last year. You guys have saved NOTHING! But you guys sure have killed a lot of horses "rescuing" them :(

Alex, your forum “managing” skills SUCK. I mean BIG TIME. You ban people who question you or your livelihood (we'll get to that in a bit ;) but allow people who are totally off their rocker to stay.

I also think Alex is from the school of "any publicity is good publicity"...as long as he gets him name out there is all that matters to him. The FACTS are that of the approximate 9 million horses in the USA, 7 million of those are in the racing industry. The racing industry, just because of sheer numbers participating alone, is responsible for the majority of death related injuries, illegal drug, over drugging, unethical sportsmanship and overall abuse.

Alex's boss, Steve Asmussen, is one of those real dandy's of the racing world. It's hypocritical (not to mention comical!) that Alex tries to preach what he does with the close company he keeps. Most see through it...to many don't.

I often wonder if the husbands of the panty throwers would buy Alex a drink if they could. The craziness runs so rapid around ABR that I'm sure the husbands are thrilled to have their wives off their backs so they can pursue a normal life and maybe an affair or two :)

Do I think ABR has ran it's course? HELL YES I DO! I think you would be doing everyone a huge service and save a lot of people a lot of pain if you gracefully bowed out now before it gets even worse. Heck, you can't even deny the big changes that have been going on around ABR for some time now.

As for the rest of ABR....well if Alex wants to keep his name in some lights and do his little racing updates and keep a few panty throwers around, then so be it. There are a lot of nuts on the internet, it's not like he won't still fit in....But for the love of God, ditch the forum before ABR ruins even more lives and kills more horses!

Anyway that's what Jim of Tierra Madre Horse Sanctuary comes right out and claims...

Lets take a look at a rescue that houses just under 30 horses on a bit less than 3 acres, doesn't let a day go by without suggesting people need to send him money, claims no one can care for horses the way he can, claims to live off of coffee and sometimes a half can of soup to survive and always has some kind of tragedy going on....Oh, and the horses ONLY check in....they never check out.

Yep, just like prisoners on death row. Once the horses come to Tierra Madre they are there for life. Jim claims no one can give them the kind of care he can. Which would be all fine and dandy if he could afford those horses that are now "his"...but he can't. Hell he can't even afford to eat by his own admission.

He is very good at creative writing....all those years as a writer have really paid off. He can make an old lady wet herself like no other...sell an Eskimo ice and most important, use is creative writing style to gain the all important dough it takes to finance his personal herd of horses.

At just under 3 acres Jim claims he can house up to 30 horses and normally runs just below that. It's amusing to read Jim blog about building new pens for the horses and how the latest one was HUGE! Yes, HUGE!!!! Measuring almost 30' x 30'! OMG!

Jim posts several times a day on ABR....you never know what kinds of goodies will roll off his fingers. Just over a month ago Jim makes a post telling everyone he's sick and BROKE. This is pretty typical, it seems he gets into a bind quite often and makes these kind of posts. It works for him....the lonely housewives of ABR wet themselves to see how quick they can send him some more money.

But this day was different. Shortly after claiming to be broke Jim gets a phone call.....someone has asked him to take another horse and they want $700 for it....so a new thread is born! Help bring "Coloreado" to Tierra Madre! WOW, a lot can change in 8 hours I guess! Maybe he won the lotto? Oh, no...never mind, he's asking the lonely housewives to foot the whole bill and shipping too of course....imagine that :)

You would think that a group of people who profess to be advocates for horse welfare would not shit a pile of money to go send a horse off to go live with someone who is always broke...but were not talking normal people here...we're talking FOB's.

So Jim's "I'm broke" tears are quickly dried with a new horse.

Just a handful of days ago a thread called "Famous TB Smokey Stover needs a HOME" pops up....yep, only 14 replies into the post there is Jim...."We'll be more than glad to give Smokey a forever home - but can only do it if the $600 & shipping costs can be raised."

What made this so priceless? A few friends and I had been chatting when the thread started up and wondered how long before Jim would bebop over to try to capitalize on this "famous" horse. See, he likes to get hold of the ones that have some sort of notoriety....it makes it easier for those poor me, send me cash posts.

Seems a few are onto Jim and the good old "they only check in, they never check out" ways and aren't overly thrilled with 30 horses being crammed on less than 3 acres. They thought this guy deserved a real pasture and someplace he could actually run and not have to stop every few feet to turn around so he didn't smack into his prison cell.

Of course this didn't make Jim happy...not happy at all. He whined and cried around on that thread and also on his daily check in thread....he wanted his little group of lonely housewives to go over to Smokey's thread and tell everyone he needed to go to Jim's place....whaaaaaa, whaaaaaa, whaaaa.....Still didn't work out for the ol' boy...he claimed he was out politicked by people he didn't know....yeah, couldn't have had anything to do with the fact that some people didn't think the horse deserved to go to prison. So Jim makes one of his famous "no one could care for him the way I could have" posts....gag me...

Oh. and the lonely housewives tried to dry his tears with yet another horse...but Jim didn't seem to interested...not "famous" enough I suppose...... :)

One last piece of information....per Jim, if you don't like Obama then you are a racist, LMAO! He loves to spurt his political views...alienating one conservative at a time :)

I'd lay money on the fact that there will not be a good outcome for theses horses down the road.....

Due to an anonymous donor the goats have been saved from the ugly truck! YAY!

One problem though...the person that took them on already has to may goats to feed...they have been begging all over the internet for food and basic care for their babies.

So now we need to pony up some cash and pay the owner to take care of these animals they chose to take on.

Oh! And let's not forget about the 2 months quarantine! It costs so much more than regular care you know. $300 per goat for 2 months ought to cover it...

Feed, vet, dewormer will need to be paid by someone else for life!

Let's set a goal amount of $5000!

Sorry, I don't know how to add orbs or glitter to the pictures of the goats....I hope that doesn't hurt their fundraising!

Ok, so I've bitched before about the ABRites turning lose their dough to buy horses when someone screams "ugly truck" but clamming their wallets up when ask to actually feed and care for the horses they are enabling these so called rescues to take on.

It's pretty depressing to read all the threads where a rescues are begging for hay, set a goal of lets say $1000 with 20, 30, 40...head of horses on the property and after a month they have raised like $200 bucks.

So my question is, how are these horses eating? Are they starving while they are waiting for the next person to throw $20 at them so 40 horses can split 5 bales of hay? Are the rescues coming up with the hay on their own by actually paying for it themselves yet keep begging?

This is one of the scariest things I see with these rescues. Especially since so many horses have had to be rescued from their rescuers "All for the love of Barbaro".

I'm suppose to be the no good dirty rotten bitch who should burn in hell for thinking slaughter is OK....but you know what? I have never in my life had 1 report filed against me, my horses have never missed a meal, their feet, teeth and shots are all current, they have a great barn, a nice safe lot without a bunch of junk shit it in and want for nothing (well, ok, Bo is a little pissed since I put his fat ass on a diet :)......and guess what? I pay for every fucking dime of it myself and would never dream of it being any other way....but I'm the one that sucks? LMAO

I think it's time for me to take a new turn (mixed with some of the old) with this blog. I've had the hardest time posting......by the time I read all of the shit on ABR my brain is just so jumbled with the fucktards and their leader that I don't even know where to begin or what to say. So I'm going to try this bit and blog for me for a while and throw in bits and pieces of craziness with each post.

I guess I'll start that with the next blog though...today I'm going to play a bit of catch up :)

First, let's relive Mustang Hearts for a minute. If you're not familiar with this so called rescue and the nut bag who runs it start here and then a little more catch up reading for you. This woman is scary off her rocker!

Pretty much everything people feared (well the ones who didn't wear those funny colored glasses) came true a few months ago...Her latest savior had to quit funding her hoarding habits and Debbie life took another crazy twisted turn. Mustang Hearts is no longer....that's the good news!

Now the bad news....A handful of the horses went to smaller rescues but she sent 30+ to a place called Orphan Acres that already had 60-70 horses. Not only did she send the horses there but he also took in her lazy filthy ass to "help out". Naturally that didn't last more than a few weeks. Tempers flared, fists flew and Debbie was once again out on her ass.

But for some reason, NOW that OA won't have anything to do with the nutbag they are the root of all evil and she's going balls to the wall trying to get him shut down. She claims horses are dying and starving to death.

Now before I go any further I'll give my opinion on OA. From the web site it looks like a shit hole. I would never send a horse there for any reason. But for Debbie it was the answer to all of her prayers...another place for her and her horses to live for free while it lasted. All I am thankful for is that she signed all of the horses over to him so when she went out on her ass the horses didn't go with. While the place is as big of a shit hole as Debbie's places always became, at least OA has been in one spot for 30+ years and not totally reliant on the dime of others and constantly shuffling from place to place.

I don't think OA has any business trying to manage the amount of horses that they do but this was Debbie's choice. She declined all sorts of offers from other smaller rescues to get these horses where they are now and then bitches and cries about the neglect and abuse they are alledgelly enduring.

Debbie has it in her mind that this is not her fault, she is once again a victim. I just have one thing to say to her...

Hey Debbie you fucking crazy ass nutbag loser-YOU put the horses there. No one but YOU! If horses are dying and starving to death it is YOUR fault. No one else's! See what happens when you cry wolf one to many times, no one except for a handful of other nutbags believe your shit! YOU are the cause of ALL of this drama! Sleep on that for a while!

It seems like the handful of rescues that are left on ABR are all at each others throats. Competition for the few dollars that remain there is my guess. The Board Nazi doesn't even show up much these days unless it's to promote his latest blog entry or to ban someone.

I had to laugh...the other day one rescue was going after another. The rescue throwing the venom was also posting on ICERS and had posted they and Alex were emailing and they were getting banned. So yeah, t happened...the rescue gets banned. Some people weren't happy and made it known. Alex pops back on and posts "XXXX was banned by mistake" and walla, they are back on. Way not to put any blame on yourself Alex! After all it wasn't YOU who made the mistake, huh? LMAO. Little man, big ego is perfect and cannot personally take the blame for mistakes I suppose......

This morning with my first cup of coffee I read where a horse has been down for hours and it wasn't the first time. The horse is 30ish years old. Of course everyone is wishing the horse well and a few posts down I read "I know that feeling I had it for two yrs with my first horse that lived to be 38. For two yrs we would lift him to his feet because his back legs were not stong enough to push himself up".......that's some real quality life there losers! I am so glad I'm not a rescue so I can make horses endure more pain and suffering at the hand of so called saviors than they ever could at a slaughter plant! Most of these people have no business owning a frog, let alone a horse....

Whenever horse slaughter is brought up I always ask where the love for the cows and chickens are....I am normally greeted with the weak argument that horses are so much more intelligent and cows and other animals just can't be trained the way horses are.

Even after all of the scams have came to light on ABR, with the latest one being the biggest yet, it's still business as usual over there.

How can someone who has never seen a facility or met someone in person put their name behind them? Sing their praises?

SINCE Lifelines, I have seen people raise questions.....someone else jump in and tell everyone what a fine rescue so and so is, they are on the up and up and people are mean and evil fools for questioning them....yet on 3 occasions I have private emailed the "supporters" and ask very nicely "Have you been to this facility or met the people in charge" and all 3 times I have been responded to with "Well, no, BUT......". Sorry folks, that makes NO fucking sense!

We've all seen lately where pretty pictures and nice stories have done for the rescue world via internet.....

Here's a post from the dear moderator that supported Lifelines so much. It was made before she became a moderator, but here she is supporting another POS rescue.....with an attitude like this I see exactly why the Board Nazi chose her......an exert:

First, a little continuance from the previous blog and a rescue called Lifelines....If you haven't read the comments section for the previous blog, you really should. There's some damn good investigation going on there!

The only thing I'd like to say is that someone suggested bringing the media in to publicize the story and all the people involved with LL.
I don't think that's a good idea, but some of you may feel otherwise. As bona fide rescues, we don't need any more public skepticism about our credibility. If the story got out on LL, I think it would damage the reputation of every rescue. (Every rescue? I hardly think so.....just the ones on ABR who spend more time begging for funds than taking care of there little ponies)

I agree with you that until this plays out, it would not be a good idea to alert the press. Until you have more answers, an article at this time may put the tried and true rescues in jeopardy with potential adopters. (and who are these tried and true rescues? Wasn't LL one of those?)

I would think if the Board Nazi was any kind of man he would have done put down his pencil writing about the memoirs of brushing Barbaro and wrote some kind of press release to protect his beloved board and FOB's before some nut like me comes along and exposes the truth of the matter :)

Do any other posters here wonder if outsiders that read this forum get the wrong impression? I know that often, when trying to educate the media, and our public officials, they are given links to this BB, for info on slaughter/rescue. If for some reason, they then "browse" around this forum, they'll find people trying to pretend they are Barbaro/Nicanor posting on a BB, or they see posts from people who are writing that they are sobbing hysterically about Barbaro this long after his death, or people being asked to light candles for a dead horse because the number of candles is low.

Do you ever worry that those things make us look like whackjobs, and therefore reduces the credibilty of our anti-slaughter position? I mean, the pro slaughter side can tell people, "Well, just go LOOK at some of the posts on that forum. Those people are nutjobs!" And if they read some of these threads, they'll agree with the pro slaughter side. The good that has been done by members of this forum becomes invisible, when pro-slaughter side people use the other posts to prove that the anti slaughter side is a bunch of emotionally unstable, middle aged housewives playing the adult version of "My Pretty (dead) Pony".

Personally, Im afraid to link to this BB (even the WIKI section) for fear that the reader might actually browse around...

I have to give this gal some credit. She's taking major heat for her post and she didn't go back and modify or delete it. Of all the FOB's out there, this woman truly "Gets it". She's been a member there for quite some time but is being treated the same as "I see you just joined today" posters....If I was this gal I would take what marbles I have left in my brain from even attempting to be a part of this and run like Forrest Gump! It's clear she is to "normal" for that place :)

More ABR Scams, Lies, Cover Up's & Dead People?

Well it's been a couple of exciting weeks over on the nut bag board......

Let me start with giving you a little history on a rescue called Lifelines, who claimed to be a 501c3 rescue....for the last couple of years they have been on ABR begging for anything from feed to fence to rent. They've had to unexpectedly "move" at least 3 times that I know of.....around every corner there was a red flag but the FOB's choose to ignore them and continuously threw money.

Several questions were raised over time.....and we all know that isn't allowed on the Nazi board to begin with, but what made this rescue even more protected from criticism is that one of the moderators on ABR, well, this was one of her babies. I can't tell you how many times I've seen posts deleted and members banned for asking legitimate questions of them.

Lets fast forward to November 6th.....A post is made by the moderator who has sang praises and glory for this rescue (MaryLOhio), that the owner of Lifelines, Theresa Driesbach, had passed away the night before. And to PLEASE send (can you guess? :) MONEY to the husband who is going to carry on her "dream"....referring to the rescue of course.

Imagine to everyone's surprise when the obituary came out and the owner of, here after referred to as LL, Lisa Zeller had passed.....

Damn little digging uncovered that the Zeller woman was indeed who everyone referred to as Theresa Driesbach, Lisa had been convicted of identity theft at least once. Also uncovered, again with damn little digging, that SUPRISE! LL was indeed not a 501c3 rescue, she had been arrested on more than one occasion, was involved in dog rescue at one time and was found to be a fraud then, not to mention a little abuse going on too.

I'm sure there is shit I'm missing, but honestly I'm not going to put that much energy into today's blog with going through all the crap I've researched and saved.....that should have been the job of all the people who threw money.....but I especially blame the moderator for what I can only refer to as a major cover up with all the praises she sang and posts that were deleted and members banned when anyone questioned LL.

MaryL has since modified the original death post to take out the part to send money of course......AFTER God only knows ow much money was sent. It's all about covering your tracks over there :)

So not only could all of this had been avoided with allowing questioning, now the members who donated to a fake 501c3 have to worry about the money they claimed on last years taxes and not being able to claim any donations on this years.

It gets better...if you didn't waste your time reading the link I posted above here is a basic run down for you of the events since Nov. 6th....well ok, the events since the beginning of LL coming to ABR. LOL

LL begs funds on ABR for 2 years.....right down to carrots and rent.

Red flags everywhere.

You ask questions, you get banned.

Double difficult, rescue is friends with a MOD. Questions 200% prohibited.

LL owner dies.

Mod comes on, announces death, says please send all your $ to husband to help carry on "the dream".

Obituary comes out....whoops, different name than the person they knew!

LL owner previously convicted of ID theft......

Next day husband who is "carrying on dream" is selling horses.

More info comes to light. Rescue owner has about 6 identities.

Opps, more info....LL owner died of AIDS two years ago too per a dog rescue forum.

SS# were required on all the adoption contracts.

Husband supposedly skipped town with the computer with all evidence on it....not to mention the "dream" money....wait, husbands back? Where is the computer? Who the fuck knows....

LL used a fake 501c3 and as been collecting donations for 2 years.

People who claimed them on taxes last year are fucked.

Bottom line.....person may or may not be dead, thousands of dollars given to the rescue after the death at a MODS request, and a hubby of felon with a ton of SS#'s.

In a way I feel a little guilty getting this much pleasure when a person could have actually died....then again I'm not overly bothered because of a long list of convictions from the ID theft to animal abuse.

The FOB's worshiped this woman.

Oh....and since the funds were raised on ABR ALL the FOB's think they own them and there is a huge power struggle going on. It's fucking awesome....sorry.....

There's about 10 threads going on now for this debacle.....there easy to find if you have several hours of your life to completely waste that you'll never get back. So far there has been several people claiming to be in charge of what going to happen to the horses now. It depends what day it is as to who's in charge. It's a huge cluster fuck!

One would think after this mess that the board Nazi and his minions would allow some questioning of rescues to go one. Hell, it even looked promising for a minute. But it's gone back to business as usual over there....

A rescue that amazing enough, several FOB's have questioned, took a little heat yesterday. The rescue is called Hidden Meadows Equine Rescue or HMER for short. Another that needs money for absolutely everything, down to band-aids, and has a farm that looks like a shit hole.....not to mention the lady has a real tough time with math, but it's ok, it always works out in her favor ;)

Questions deleted, members banned and the thread was locked. I see it's back open for posting now.....someone must have thrown an empty beer bottle at the board Nazi.

Bottom line is, AGAIN, if questions were allowed, standards set, people researched and moderators playing fair, the LL deal could have saved people a lot of time, energy and money....but I guess it would take away from the "numbers saved" that seem to be the MOST important thing over there.....even though I guarantee they couldn't tell you where 10% of those horses are now!

Sorry ICERs, I read a couple of things over there this morning that had me ROTFLMAO and so true......I have to share :)

Top 10 Standards of Behavior required on ABR that banned posters did not meet:

10. Smile all the time, or send smileys, or send bunnies that smile, or any cartoon with a smile on it.

9. Tell Alex how wonderful he is and how important he is to the horse industry on a daily basis.

8. Overlook any seemingly odd situations at "rescue" organizations in order to use more smiley cartoons, etc.

3. Pretend that ALL the horses ever given money to were REALLY RESCUED/SAVED from the kill pen, kill buyer, death, bad rescues, etc.

2. Whenever Alex writes a blog, column, goes on the radio, etc. be prepared to follow this up with a gushing comment on how important he is to the horses.

I greatly appreciate the work this board is doing. That is why it upsets me so much that some people are taking advantage of this Board. And why I am standing up for the great rescues here that are doing wonderful work for the horses.

That's all I've gotten since I sent AWI and NBFA emails over a week ago about them taking and placing unwanted horses.......Here is where I blogged about them a little over a month ago when the release was made.

So I set up a dummy email account, made up a sob story and asked for help. What I got was silence. Why am I not surprised? Guess I titled my previous blog more than correctly!

And talk about crickets.....

Guess who I got an email from on June 10th?!? The King himself....Alex Brown.

I had made a post on ICERs forum taking a stab at him of course about his banning policies.....so for some reason Alex thought he just had to send me a little something.....it went like this:

The Animal Welfare Institute (AWI) has launched a program they call "Project Wanted Horse". Of course all the anti slaughter zealots are screaming "What excuse will the pro side use now since there are no more unwanted horses?!?"

Personally I'm going to stick to my story....there are thousands of unwanted horses out there! You guys are nut bags and don't have a frickin' clue :)

The ABR forum has not skipped a beat begging for homes and money since this "project" has been launched. Of course the FOB's have done a media blitz with this release and me being the outstanding citizen that I am had to follow behind them and give links to all the unwanted horses and rescues still screaming "I'm at maximum capacity" on the very same forum in which this release was posted.

Why are there so many unwanted horses still looking for a home if this is a success? Why are rescues on ABR still offering horses needing homes for NO adoption fee? Why aren't they picking up the phone and calling AWI to come get them? Why all the hysteria still if an unwanted horse no longer exists?

So far this project is like the many many other pipe dreams the radical whackaloons have came up with......A FAILURE! Wake up and smell the horse shit people ;)

Mustang Hearts Dump N Drama

Let's take a walk down memory lane for a minute......I blogged about this rescue back in December, here we are six months later and nothing has changed.....and I mean NOTHING!

The chick still has over 45+ horses. Who really knows.....she quit answering questions a long time ago. She still has her little cult of followers that continuously bump her ABR Begathons and post "will send you $ when I get paid". It's the same crowd.....all the sane people run away to fast to drop a dollar on their way by these days.

A short catch up summary of this hoarder....um.....I mean rescue.....

Still doesn't adopt, only "free leases". Has "free leased" several over the past 6 months but somehow they either don't work out, she repo's them the "karma" isn't right or she takes in more. She had 45 6 months ago and she claims to have that many now.

It finally happened.....In march it was made public tat she lost her place. Well, she didn't make it public, even denied it for a while....but her landlord gave permission to post an email she sent to Debbie on the internet. She was suppose to be out by June first, but she's still dragging her feet.

Oh wait! Before I go any further I just have to let you see these pictures! This one was taken back in the winter....

The people who own this cute little cabin gave it rent FREE to Debbie when she moved in.....before the hoarding days (or who knows, she may have been starting over from a hoarding past?) when she had 18 horses she "rescued".

But instead of taking good care of her little rent free haven she goes and fucks the place all up. Remember the picture of the horse INSIDE this nice little rent free house? And all the garbage in there? Some thanks those people got for their kindness....

She claims to have another rent free place for them all to go now......she says the new people "Get it"......no, they don't now but I'm sure they will......

I've known this was going on for quite some time.....I've had plenty of "tips" dropped off in my email, have even recently been a victim.....but I never had anything in cold hard writing to show proof.....

An eBay seller not long ago posted a picture for sale of Eight Belles down on the track. Of course the FOB's about shit themselves and immediately went to condemning the seller and reporting the auction to any eBay email address they could find. Here is the post I have been waiting for though! Now there it is in black and white :)

The real way to make this seller pay is to buy it using BIN, pay for it, then after recieving it leave seller negative feedback.

Under new eBay feedback rules in effect 5/19/08, sellers cannot leave buyers negative or neutral FB.

You can give him bad star ratings, too. Ebay has a new formula where if you have bad FB or star ratings you get a lesser position in the search. This seller deals in sports memorabilia, a field already crowded. A $6.25 investment would hurt this seller.

The auction has around 10 hours left, and seller can't modify or remove it himself.

Remember, if you do this, to be patient, and leave FB after reciept of the product, or seller can claim hostile bidding.

The photo could also be forwarded to the owner (photog, AP) intact in the unopened envelope, for possible court action.

Emotions are running high on ABR since the Kentucky Derby 2nd place winner Eight Belles had to be euthanized. So where is the fearless leader in this time of need? Well.....he's posting about his new blog on the NYT and promoting it! Sorry FOB's, your shit out of luck.....oh, he did post a little blurb about the filly....but it was also on the NYT blog....no comfort on his mother ship forum.

He did make it back to his own forum in time to do another round of banning members though! Like I said, emotions are running high and you have a lot of FOB's bashing horse racing right now.....so instead of trying to understand, giving some healing time, he goes right to the ban paddle. What a sad little man.......

Here are a couple of his comments....of course I added my thoughts in green :)

those that were banned either advocated for the end of horse racing or simply suggested they were done with the sport. this IS a horse racing site. Hum...but you turned it into an anti slaughter, saving the world site. Like it or not, horse racing does contribute to the slaughter pipe line dumb ass.

I've seen this stuff from ABR before and it always pisses me off so I thought I'd share just how low some can go.....

There's a few FOB's that are obsessed with craigslist. If a cheaper of free horse is put on there they email and "warn" them about the evils of slaughter and how sneaky kill buyers are waiting on these horses.....because God knows that with the prices of horses and prices of fuel, all the kill buyers are cruising craigslist and scouring the country side putting on a big act to take poor little "Buttercup" from his loving owners straight to the killers.....he's worth so much damn money ya know....And there certainly aren't enough unwanted horses floating around by the hundreds in the auction houses . Geesh....LOL.

Anyway....every now and then the FOB's receive an email back that just makes me smile. I'm going to share this one from a gal who put a free horse on craigslist......

"Excuse me, but who are you to tell me what to do with my horse I paid money for? You need to keep your nose in your own business. I have three other mares that I rescued from the blm who are just fine. She will be going only to an approved home where she will be loved. Please, for future reference, keep out of peoples business from now on. I am not your charity case to try and save, and niether is my mare".

Gotta love it........but here is where the lowness comes in......instead of leaving this person alone, they have decided that this person should not own a horse. Here is what their trying to pull off.....

"I wonder if this lady is interested in providing her last name or the horse's brand number so that I can call Jason at 3-Strikes and he can get a hold of Sally in D.C. with the BLM and have the lady blacklisted from adopting any MORE BLM Mustangs from the BLM. She said this is not the only Mustang that she has, and I dont feel that she really needs to have any more. Clearly stating she's not working with the horse, so off the ships it to someone else who will either slaughter it or send it on down the line from home to home."

"You could try emailing her and ask her for the BLM ID. She is likely to tell you the same thing but worth a try. I am hoping my email scared her a lttle. I just found another 2 BLM mustangs for sale near me for $100 each and I emailed that person also."

First, what the FOB's are doing is called SPAM and it's ILLEGAL. But the FOB's are on a high pedestal (in their own minds) so it makes it ok......

Yes, this lady has been warned that she is being discussed on an internet forum and these good people have decided to play judge and jury......this kind of stuff makes me want to poke my eyes out.

On a happier note, I did join ICERS forum. They are anti slaughter but have a pretty good grip on reality. I wasn't met with "open" arms......but aside from a few FOB's melting down and coming over to try to run me off they have been very accepting of allowing me my opinions even though they know where I stand on the slaughter issue.

There are so many more woes in the horse world right now that have nothing to do with slaughter. They deal primarily in calling out the bad rescues that are scamming people out of money and warning others.

Oh, and check this out.....a while back the Board Nazi, Alex banned everyone that actively posted in ICERS. Imagine that...LOL. The little man just can't seem to handle reality :) He even banned people that are very active in helping in the rescue community (legitimate rescues that is.....). Ah, what an ego this man has......

You'll be pleased to learn that the "alive and well" part is where you come in! A new organization has been created through the cooperative effort of the numerous horse industry organizations and the USDA, called "Save Horses In Trouble-Help End Abandonment & Death," or SH!THEAD for short. In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, and to alleviate the pressure on existing rescue facilities to take in the thousands of unwanted horses, we have decided to place one unwanted horse under the personal care of each and every person that supported banning horse slaughter in the United States.

As you may know, since the slaughter facilities have closed, not only have rescue facilities and shelters been inundated to the point that they have to close their doors to new arrivals, but many horses have also been neglected, starved to death, or abandoned because of the record high hay prices. Therefore, your participation in this program is mandatory.

Big flames......CBER meltdown. It's all over the net. I'll let you read all the links, they pretty much say it all, can't think of to much to add besides this doesn't surprise me or a LOT of people.

FHOTD went to the shredder with them (April 7th and 8th)......I certainly don't agree with a lot of her opinions but I'll have to admit I do get a sick twisted kick out of it when she's right because of the level she takes it to.

ICERS is a board I've been watching for quite some time. These people (with the exception of a couple) really DO "Get it". I've toyed with the idea of joining there, even though our views on the actual slaughter issue is different I can't find to much else to bitch about with their practices. I know I wouldn't have to fear the censorship I received from ABR. More power to them for standing up for their opinions.

ABR....No surprise here.....Alex still has his head in the sand. This is what Alex had to say, the board Nazi will probably end up doing his usual banning/deleting/censorship process so you better read quick.....LOL.

Sorry for the disappearing act.....I really didn't mean to take this long of a break. The days turned into weeks......

Looks like it's pretty much the same old shit, different day out there. All of the articles and news peaces on starving and abandoned horses are pretty depressing. Hay and grain prices suck. Fuel prices blow.

I wasn't shocked today when I logged onto ABR and found another rescue has went down and taken the FOB's money with them. When will they ever learn. And how about their fearless leader Alex? FOB's are screaming for accountability and their he sits, quiet as a church mouse. The silence is louder than anything he could say at this point.

I also noticed another one of his favorite rescues he stands ferociously behind, CBER, has had another round of difficulties and no accountability. When questions were brought up, the Board Nazi quickly closed the thread.

I noticed that someone mentioned Mustang Hearts in the comments section. I actually did a blog on them a while back. Not much has changed, their still begging for every flake of hay on ABR. Now she's loosing her place, won't answer any questions but expects people to donate. Oh, and I also learned she can tame wild horses in a week .....what will be next, she's already a psychic too....

I'll never understand why the Board Nazi allows this kind of stuff.....I guess it goes to prove some people don't care what kind of light is shed on them.....as long as there IS light on them.

I wonder if the Jacksons would have this much trouble if they lost a HUMAN. I bet if it was a relative they would have been shoved in the first hole that was dug. Yes, play it for all you can get out of it. 100 posts from people who think they know where Barbaro should be buried and the posts begging for hay that are all over the place barely have a reply.

I thought this article was interesting. Pretty much dispels the theory that people from other countries don't have a clue what's going on. But people like me already knew that ;) I have also been reading where the radical zealots have been writing the author to tell them how wrong they are....idiots....

Martha Stewart....well I can't stand the lady to begin with but this just adds to it. She had Equine Advocates on her show (youtube video of the show), I didn't have much of a problem with that, they were pretty good about representing the facts, only a couple of slants thrown in. What does upset me, and she should be publicly flogged for it, is putting her audience on the spot. Equine Advocates had a petition to sign and Martha told everyone in her audience to sign it. Sorry, but there was not nearly enough information thrown out there for the audience to make an educated decision. Of course the FOB's couldn't believe there were no gasps or sighs from the audience when horse slaughter was mentioned!

I also loved how Martha showed off her barn manager. I bet she does a lot of hands on with those horses...NOT! Of course Martha has a blog but you won't see any pro slaughter comments being posted on it..sure you can waste your time trying to let her know that what she did by coercing her audience was unmoral at the least, but the blog police will only allow complete zealot responses ;)

Well I've been gone for a few days due to feeling crappy and being busy.....so I'm sure I'll have more random thought shortly when I can catch my breath!

What really makes it so freakin hilarious is this came from a couple of my friends that work very hard in the rescue industry and are on the anti slaughter side of things. No, not radical whack job wackaloons, just nice (twisted, warped :) people doing their part.

Anyway, I just have to share.....my bright new shiny DD!

Barbaro's Dead?????

Yep, he sure is.....and the bottom line is if his owners weren't in a business that kills horses every single day he would probably still be alive and frolicking right at this moment.

Am I anti racing? Hell no...just like I am not anti rodeo or anti eventing or anti anything else that might take an animals life from time to time.

How did Barbaro become the anti slaughter poster child anyway? The TB industry, although they profess to be anti slaughter, send TB to the slaughter house every day. More horses die in TB racing than any other equine sport.

Barbaro and the Jackson's....hummm....ok, so Barbaro's owners are anti slaughter, or are they? I seriously have to wonder. I mean it was no secret in the beginning that their main intention after Barbaro's break down was to get him breeding sound so they could MAKE MORE MONEY. My gut feeling is the Jackson's picked up on Barbaro becoming an anti slaughter poster child and played that route to stay in the lime light because of the attention their horse was receiving.

Of course any respect I might have had for the Jackson's went out the door when the FOB's were allowed to act like PETA. Any respectable person would not allow what is going on on the ABR forum. If you worshiped a false idol (Barbaro) and talked of God while in the same sentence threatening people and judging them for their different views, I would know you were a lunatic and NOT want to be associated with it. So that alone tells me the Jackson's have a few screws loose too.

AGAIN, the Jackson's only intent was to get Barbaro BREEDING SOUND to MAKE MONEY. No secret....watch the early news clips and read the articles. It was stated many many times....it wasn't until later on they jumped on the radical bandwagon...

Ok, yesterday I spent some time on the computer but didn't blog because I can't seem to shake this damn bug I have.

Anyway I spent some time reading the hate campaigns being unleashed by the radical anti because of the Huckabee horse meant connection.

You know what I found amazing? The majority of the anti slaughter crowd seem to be Democrats. Now I'm NOT going to get into party bashing....I believe you vote for the candidate that best suits your wants, needs and views. I'm a die hard Republican but I do not hate Democrats or think that they are not entitled to their views....I'm really not sure that I "hate" anyone.....

Why do I find it amazing that Democrats seem to be in the majority against horse slaughter? Because I feel VERY strongly about abortion.....in essence the radical anti slaughter group is saying "Save the horses, kill the babies". Now if that's not hypocritical then I don't know what is.

Why is an animals life, any animal, more important than a human life? I can't wrap my brain around this one......

Why is the radical anti slaughter crowd so scared of how American horse owners really feel? What else could be the explanation for them cheating on so many polls?

Let's start with this one from MSNBC a few months back and re live some of the radical ranting of my favorite group of people.....the FOB's. Of course my comments are in green:

Do you remember what the poll results are right now? Also, the comments are running very heavily IN FAVOR of horse slaughter!! We need a massive number of anti-slaughter comments. (I'm so sorry that other people are allowed to have an opinion besides the zealots....)

When I voted I was very surprised to see that only 64 % agreed that horse slaughter should end, and they put that option at the top so it should have been higher.

Of course I've got a lot of those one liner emails "I suppose you'd eat dogs and cats too!" Naturally I smirk when I get these and it's really not worth the time addressing it, but what the heck :)

First off, dogs and cat's really ARE pet's. They are not livestock, never have been, never will be. I am not confusing a 1200 pound horse (Livestock!) with a 20 pound lap dog (Pet!).....

Second, dogs and cat's have never been food in America. Yes, the horses carried us into battle, plowed our fields and took Granny to the doctor.....but when those horses were injured or became unusable, guess what? Most became food......Like I've said before, you won't see that on "Little House On The Prairie" but it happened. A brief Internet search through history can confirm that for you.....

I do find it a shame that millions of dogs and cats are euthanized every year due to lack of owner responsibility and just dumped into landfills or cremated....Yes, I do wish we could come up with some kind of use for all of this unnecessary death.

No, I'm not suggesting a new addition to the menu.....that would be more than even I could stomach.....but isn't it a much sadder world that this is going on without much relief in sight while something that is considered livestock is taking such a beating???

Another interesting fact for you.....horse slaughter for human consumption in the USA is illegal....we all know it has to be shipped overseas....but consumption of horse meat in the USA is NOT illegal. Horse meat dishes can still be found here in the USA in a few of the elite restaurants. Thus even further blasting out the "Americans don't eat horse" BS.

No, I'm not going to name the places where you can go enjoy a nice horse steak....they aren't places that the average middle income family will ever walk into anyway.....and I'm certainly not going to cause more grief.

The Internet is also a wonderful thing. If you get the hankering for a nice sweet horse steak then with the click of a few buttons and a credit card you can have it shipped right to your door. So anyone on the fence, I suggest you try it before you knock it. With the ever increase of our beef, I find it a shame it's not readily available for everyone to enjoy.

Since the USA Horse Slaughter plants have closed, transport to Mexico for slaughter has increased 400%. Plants used to be scattered all over the USA, but due to anti slaughter advocates getting our plants shut down, now horses are traveling long distances in often horrible conditions to meet the same end.

Bills have been proposed to shut down the Mexican and Canada borders to make it illegal to ship US horses to slaughter. Ok, then what? The thinking is that horse owners will automatically become "responsible". As another blogger wrote:

Hard fact....most reputable rescues are already up to their armpits in horses and have "No Room At The Inn" signs up. What happens to horses when financial hardship happens and all other outlets are full? I just ask you to think about that rationally for a second....

Someone sent me an email with these words in it "Think Globally, Act Locally". This person "gets it". Even though they don't necessarily agree with some of my views, we definitely have an understanding on this.

If you act locally, worry about what is in your own back yard, do what you can do and move on, it would have a global effect.

Critters have been on this planet for thousands of years. Most managed quite well without us. Some were used for work, most were used as food, very few were used for companionship. Do people not realize all these changes have came about in basically the last 100 years? Really, what makes it ok to eat a cow, chicken, hog or even a fish any different than a horse?

Anyone who has ever actually WATCHED the slaughter process of ANY animal can figure out in about 5 seconds that they all show terror for those few seconds before the axe comes. We used to raise Ostriches.....I can tell you right now that is NOT one happy bird when they get on the trailer to be slaughtered. I had 6 in the trailer once and I looked like a drunk driver going down the road with all the fishtailing from the "unhappy" birds.

We used to have HORSEMAN in this world....now we have a bunch of horse owners. Especially since any idiot can own a horse now for $20, or less. We have "rescues" popping up over night, people begging for money to care for these horse and rescue more. Where does it end? The good rescues are packed full and the shit hole rescues that might as well be hoarders are going to all need saving soon.

You can scream owner responsibility all you want, but the cold hard facts are it ain't gonna happen any time soon. If it was happening then we wouldn't have to put to sleep 192,308 dog/cats per week or 27,473 every day......or 1 every 4 seconds......

I don't understand why a lot of these PETA type people, who think they are doing so much good, do not realize how badly they are hurting the horses they say they love so much.

Some people want to blame everything on the economy...well I'm not buying into that either. I remember the summer that I was 11 years old. I worked all summer to buy a filly I had fallen head over heels for. 4 year old, green broke, papers, but nothing really special. She was $900.

When I was 11 Carter was in office. Am I the only one even at the ripe old age of 11 that remembers how our economy was then? Mortgage rates at an all time high. The job market sucked. But this filly was still $900 bucks. Now I could buy 9 just like her with that $900.

People can sit at a desk and write "white paper" articles and stuff all day long. Heck I could do that myself. Does that make everything true, or anything for that matter? I hardly think so.

We are at a FIRST time right now where the USA hasn't seen horse slaughter. There's not a soul out there who can say what is to come and what will happen. All I know is that the plants are closed, abuse and neglect seem to be on every corner and getting worse, and horses are a dollar a dozen. And I don't think it has a thing (for the most part) to do with the economy.

I'm not a horse hater, I'm a realist. And it makes me mad to see an industry that I was once proud of being a part of crumble to the ground. If horses had to be treated like the livestock that they are to keep a descent price on a horses head, then so be it.

If people would tend to their own back yards and stay out of other peoples it would make a world of difference that I think we could all live with.

I find it incredibly amusing that the FOB's seem to think I made this whole 11 horse deal up. It just goes to show the wackaloon mentality that I am pointing out about these radical groups.

All I can say is if you show up with a trailer and $1650 bucks you will be taking 11 horses home with you.....

I've had horses since the day I was born, I know half the horse people in Illinois from one end to the other......I don't make shit up, I like my friends, I like making new friends.

I've had a couple of people send me nice emails about the horses, one gal I even picked up to phone and chatted with. Not one of the wack job's spouting on ABF has even sent me an email, only spread their radical maliciousness across their forum.

Just a weeeeeeeeeeeeee little hint for you guys...the FOB's are not the only ones that read this blog. These horses are available to anyone or any group that wants them....well within reasons......LOL.....I even have some standards :)

Due to the threats and harassment by radical zealots who call themselves "rescue groups" these horses are no longer available.

I tried to do something half way descent but was only met with threats and criticism. Thank you for the 3 am "Horse Killer" calls and the email threats. I'm just not going to deal with this. The last straw was that "Animal Planet" garbage on ABF.

Thanks to the rational people here that truly wanted to help, but the wackaloons came out in bigger forces. It's just not worth it. I was volunteering my time, along with a couple of other girls. I don't care how mad anyone gets at me but I am not going to put others in jeapordy......

I tend to lump people together, when in reality that is not the way I feel. I know when I get to talking about certain groups of people that there actually are SOME people in these groups that are doing good. They are sane reasonable people.

It's the fact that the "sane" ones get lost in the mix with all the radical zealots. When I type all I can see in my head is the "BUC said a horse could carry 1200# of weight" type of people.

I've gotten a few nice emails telling me my slaughter views suck but thanks for pointing out the zealots.

No one should be ran away from a cause they believe in or feel embarrassed to be a part of something they feel strong about. Well that is exactly what is happening.

Based on the header picture they have decided I am a big fat cow and it's abuse to be on my poor horses back. I know FOB's aren't used to seeing a healthy horse but come on now....LOL.....Would it make you feel better if I only hoarded horses and didn't ride? Or is it my adequate fencing, lack of hillbilly junk shit in my yard, the fact that all my animals are well taken care of and healthy and you can't find anything else to pick on?

I normally hate to post great big pictures but to fully appreciate the mess these horses are living in I have to. Horses are separated by 1 saggy strand of wire or if she couldn't get her hands on that there is always bailing twine tied end to end.....

I put in nice big gaudy red arrows to help you identify fencing. It's so damn hard to see!

Way to keep them off the front porch!

That's a really nice corral there! Glad Hillbilly Bob is out having his morning coffee....at least someone is there to watch if the horse gets tangled up in all that junk laying around!

And what well respectable rescue wouldn't let a horse inside their house to stay warm? It's ok if he shits on the floor, there is so much junk in there you wouldn't notice it for a few months anyway....No halter or lead? Nawww...just open the door and let them roam in...

At least their well fed.....I mean she isn't buying hay, her supporters are, why shouldn't she spread it out in her stalls? Let them lay, pee and shit on it.....it isn't her money!

Another nice piece of homemade twine fence and a nice pile of hay to crap in...Notice the pretty green cattle panels? She didn't buy those either....some other city slickers who don't know jack about horses bought them after she said she needed them......They could have bought enough 5 strand electric fence to make the place safe with the bucks they shelled out for these. $80 panels and a bailing twine gate......priceless.....

Still wondering what I am bitching about? Well she loves to post her stories on the Internet along with these fascinating pictures. What I have learned from her postings??????

She bought a bunch of horses at an auction, wrote a bad check, then went on the Internet and begged for the money to cover the check. That's responsible! NOT!

She now has 45+ head of horses living in the crap hole fencing conditions.

Her land and house are rented....no real biggie but the owners are talking about selling and all she can talk about is saving more horses?!?!?!?!? When she gets kicked out on her ass then what?

She says she's "disabled" and cannot work but she can care for 45+ head of horses?

Most of these horses she says are "un adoptable" because of one reason or another. One of the reasons are a lot of them cannot even be handled. Nice, with this many horses they never will get handled either!

She's posted numerous times of horses getting loose or getting injured on her fencing....well no shit dumb ass! Have you seen your fence?????? We all have! Didn't ya just post you had 2 out again last night?!? LOL

In a year she has only adopted out 2 horses....and that has only been after several people have accused her of being a hoarder by her Internet postings. Note that their are NO horses for adoption on her web site....

Several people are trying to get her to see the light...DONT TAKE ON MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE!!! But everything goes over her head. All she can say is "would you rather them go to slaughter?" My answer is YES! Please dear God before one of them gets out and runs out in front of a car!!! That might actually kill a HUMAN! They would have died less painful at slaughter than they will from infections from all the wire cuts!

This rescue will be in need of rescuing very soon I bet......

I'm not so sure rescues are a good thing...the more I read about them the more they scare the hell out of me.

This is an interesting story......

I am so sick of animal hoarders working in disguise of a "rescue". Not only are they feeding their own addiction, they also use ploys to get money from the public to fund their addictions by calling themselves rescues.

The story continues......

I don't have a critter on my place that wasn't rescued in one way or another. There are far worse fates out there for animals besides screaming "The ugly truck is coming"...."Horses have long pretty necks and shouldn't be slaughter"......or my favorite....."Stop horse slaughter!!!! (hey hun, can you pass me that cheeseburger).....oopsss....I spilled ketchup on my ostrich skin purse!"

Another follow up on the story.....

Please tell me why these horses would have been better off if they hadn't just got on that damn ugly truck? Instead of a quick slaughter they had to endure LONG term abuse to get into this kind of condition.....Remember, these stories and pictures are coming from a rescue that preaches anti slaughter....Animal Angels....animal angels from hell that is.

There are already so many more cases of animals needing rescued from rescues out there, and I'm sure lots more to come....... I'll be posting more, I just had this case on my mind and wanted to pop it on here real quick.

I have a collection of Loons and we have another home in Minnesota on a big lake and normally have a Loon nest in our yard every year. So now every time I look at my Loon collection or see the beautiful Loon sitting on her nest, the FOB's will forever be etched in my mind and instead of enjoying their beauty I will be LMAO thinking of the FOB's instead! considering that Christmas is very solemn and Barbaro's track going downhill began around this time. The timing is extremely sensitive to Christians and FOBs. Obviously, at the moment he was writing he was not spiritually connected. Anyone who is connected wouldn't say those horrible things about Barbaro.

As for bred unnaturally, Dynaformer and LaVilleRouge loved each other so much at the time they conceived Barbaro to make such an extraordinary, RARE beautiful "freak of nature." This usually happens when both parents reach such a high spiritual plane and divine connection with each other that this is the product of their "love making." (Um, WTF?...A stallion in breeding season would mount a monkey if it held still long enough...gee, I didn't know horses were capable of that deep of emotions...)

Barbaro kind of reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode "The Prime Mover." Where a simple, yet very special broom sweeper is very happy being himself until others just want a piece of him and his amazing abilities just for their own greedy exploits (like Jesus again). Barbaro changed the energy of the world without even being in the same room as many of us.

There is always so much jealousy for SUPER STARS (Yes honey, I can't believe all the people who are jealous over a dead horse and a group of wackaloons that worship him)

Ok, enough blogging about the FOB's this morning....those quotes made my head thump, LOL. I think I'll go grab another cup of coffee and maybe watch one of my favorite movies....Seabiscuit :)....will that make me the anti Christ because I think that story far surpasses Barbaro?

Is One Animal More Precious Than Another?

Um...I'm thinking NOT.

I don't get this whole anti horse slaughter crap, especially from people who are shoving a hamburger in their mouth while crying about it.

What makes a horse more precious than a cow, chicken, rabbit, or any other animal MOST people indulge in?

Let's look at some videos.....Here is how horses were slaughtered in the US plants before the plants were shut down. Horse slaughter video, .wmv file. What's so Godawful about that? The horses are standing quietly in line. Ok, there's a few seconds of terror before the bolt gun comes into play but what horse has NOT gone through a few seconds of terror whether is the non trailer loader or simply one of those horses that get all panicky if their feed bowl is in a new place.

Now if you've watched this video and are freaking out "OMG OMG those poor poor precious horses!".....let's meet our beef....Kosher slaughter.....mmmmm, bacon.....Chicken nugget anyone?

Yeah, these video's are bad, they are from PETA, worse of the worse...but my point is these animals don't look very happy to end up on a plate either, so what's the difference?

You want to become a vegetarian? Go for it....I kinda like my big fat juicy T-Bones thankyouverymuch!

Like it or not horses ARE livestock...not pets! They are classified under federal regulations as LIVESTOCK!

Do you know what happened to horses when they were injured or killed in war? THEY ATE THEM! Same with Old Bunny the family field plow machine. No, you won't see that on Little House on The Prairie, but it's just how it was.

Personally I would LOVE to lobby to make horse meat readily available in the USA. It's the leanest meat out there, wonderful sweet flavor and it's pretty damn good for you actually. I'd have no problem adding it to my regular diet.

Well I always like to make a good first impression (LMAO), so I am going to start with a rant about my favorite group of people...NOT....but you better get used to it, I'll be ranting for days to come I'm sure!

They call themselves the FOB's...Friends Of Barbaro....Fans Of Barbaro....and if you worship the dead horse and think he speaks to you in a special horsie language then you might call yourself "Frenz Of Barbaro".

Through out my rantings you will probably hear me say "Radical anti slaughter groups" a lot...yes, when those words roll off my fingers I will be referring to the FOB's and PETA type people....

They gather here and spread venom and hate about anyone with views other than theirs...so I thought I'd return the favor :)

It's ran by a funny looking little English man named Alex...I refer to him as "The Board Nazi" (I'll explain my nick name later on :)....but I think my most favorite Internet nick name for him is "Clueless Alex"...seems the most fitting anyway......He claims to have been around horses all his life, works as an exercise jockey, lives in a country that eats horse, but somehow magically didn't know slaughter existed until he had the good luck to be acquainted with Barbaro and ride his tail wind into his own little world of self proclaimed notoriety. That's only the beginning of his cluelessness though.......stay tuned.....

It started out innocent enough...The trainer the Board Nazi worked for trained next to Barbaro. When the horse broke down he had a front seat to the action. He started posting updates about Barbaro under his trainers Internet site, started a forum, and the FOB's were born.

I'm not going to get into bashing the horse.....He was a nice looking animal who may or may not have went on to win more races. It's only some kind of silly little fantasy to call him the greatest one ever. I mean, he's dead, no one will ever know. I'm sure he is even rolling around in his urn rolling his eyes at the things that are being said about him. I think even a dead horse is smart enough to know it's insane to worship a false idol...So, setting the horse aside and realizing he doesn't deserve any ill words...it isn't his fault that idiots surround him....that's all I have to say about Big B himself.

Now if the FOB's would have settled with just being a support group and maybe a few new race fans were born then all would have been well and good...BUT a lot of these people have decided to go out and "save the world" so to speak. End horse slaughter....become horse rescue advocates.....

So now we have these people living in high rise city apartments who have never owned a horse deciding the fate of the American horse. They toss money at rescues who will abide by their every word and rule and push the problem off on someone else.

They have became so blind in their ways that they will throw money at almost anything as long as you swear on the Bible and Gods name that you would sell your soul to end horse slaughter and you worship Barbaro. It doesn't matter if you have 2 acres, 40 horses and bailing twine as fence....just say your anti slaughter and the money comes rolling in.

The Board Nazi and his FOB site could keep me busy for years just tearing apart some of their silly ideas and people they see as "rescue facilities" for years to come...

Ok, now back to the Board Nazi.......I call him this because if you come to his forum you are not allowed to express any kind of opinion that is not in line with his...your post will be deleted and you will be banned before you can even say Clueless Alex.

There used to be some sane people on that board which I did feel were truly in it for the horse. Of course between the Board Nazi and radical wackaloons they are getting harder to find. They are dropping like flies from there leaving a bunch of idiots to run the show.

A small rescue I know well was being attacked on their board a few weeks ago...The rescue has never asked for funds or anything from the FOB's...the rescue simply had an opinion which was not in line with this group so they felt the need to trash them on the Internet.

I got me a brand spankin new ID (all my previous ones have been banned :) and made a post (ONE post! LOL) in support of this rescue......I did not even break any of his site rules.....guess what happened? Can ya guess, huh, huh, can ya? LOL.....My post was deleted and all the hate filled venom posts were left there. The thread was locked and my ID banned from posting. THAT's the kind of stuff that has earned Clueless Alex the nickname of Board Nazi with me ;) It happens so frequently on his forum......

Oh, so much to rant about and so little time.....I suppose I'll pick this back up where I left off tomorrow....lucky you....LOL

Let me leave you with this.....the horse has been dead for over 47 weeks...how do I know this? Because every Monday (Barbaro was put down on a Monday) a thread pops up titled "Barbaro XX weeks after"...and now were up to week 47, yep almost a year......Some of them even admit from time to time that they didn't grieve their mother/father/grandparents for this long.....ookie dookie....creepy.....and sad.....I see creepy sad people.......
