Whenever horse slaughter is brought up I always ask where the love for the cows and chickens are....I am normally greeted with the weak argument that horses are so much more intelligent and cows and other animals just can't be trained the way horses are.
So lets take a looksie shall we, on just how dumb the food on our plate looks....

Pigs are highly intelligent animals. I don't think that needs to be argued, but here is a video anyway :)
And for fucks sake PUT AWAY THE MOUSE TRAP!!!! Yes, I know we don't eat them...but they are obviously highly intelligent and should be left alone to dominate the world!

But, but, but....your a vegan you say? Well good for you but I'm not, neither are most Americans. Why is it when the anti horse slaughter activests are questioned about there intentions they alway assure us they are NOT after our beef or other critters we enjoy eating so much....BUT.....there are always several threads within their forum comunities praising Veganism and how everyone should be doing it? Huh, what the fuck is up with that?

I thought they were for ropin not ridin. I agree, seems like a dumb thing to be doing!
In my opinion, if they were raised as pets it is wrong to slaughter them for food (yes, chickens and cows included)...if they were raised for food i.e. not treated kindly as individuals then slaughter is ok...I have heard of herds of horses raised for the purpose of meat and for that matter dogs too
I don't have a problem with people eating horse meat if they want to, go right ahead.
The issue is HOW the animals are slaughtered. Which once again isn't exclusively a horse issue, a lot of the time cattle aren't killed humanely either. But all horses bound for slaughter on the double deckers are killed inhumanely and cruelly with much undue stress. That's the issue I see anyhoo. :)

But Lael Stables covered up the death of their first time starter Peter o' at Gulfstream from injuries in #9 on 1/9/09.....those evil #9s. Didn't want anything to cloud the second coming of BARBARO. The media helped, too. All the talk about breakdowns and the chosen Jackson's get no mention? Come on.......this is NEWS!
You sound awfully bitter about Lisa Zeller dying. I guess she broke your heart and wallet. This is her sister Cindy(not fiction). And i want to apologize for My Sisters poor judgement and scams. I live in Pa but I learned to stay out of her business. We talked quite often but i never wanted to hear anything about any business.After she passed i learned more than i wanted to.
So i hope you can put the issue to rest so she can rest. My deepest apology to you and yours.
